ART St. George
Art St. George is a marketing effort designed to promote the City of St. George and Southern Utah as an art destination.
St. George is well known as one of the fastest growing "small" cities in the US and a destination for retirees. It is also known as a sports destination for golf, baseball, softball, soccer, running, cycling and hiking. St. George is best known for its visually stunning "red rock" landscapes and is the gateway to Utahs National Parks such as Zion, Bryce, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and many more.
However, St. George is more that all of those things. It is a vibrant arts community for both the visual and performing arts. It is home to many galleries, art events and arts organizations. It is also home to a number of theatrical locations such as Tuachan, the St. George Music Theater, the Electric Theater, DSU's Cox and Eccles theaters and more. One publication, America's Top Best Art Towns, by John Villain, has rated St. George in their top 100 art towns in the US.
This site is designed to help you realize the potential of St. George as an art community and we hope you will make it your art destination.
The ART St. George marketing campaign is partially funded by the Washington County RAP Tax.
